hey has anyone had problems with there cruise control not working in a ba mine had decided to stop working and hints what would be wrong with it??

Could be a dodgy wire. If it's anything like the AU it's all behind the airbag, and you need a 6 point antitheft torx bit to get to it. I didn't have a torx bit like that, so I dremelled a flatblade screwdriver and made it fit.

Once you get inside there are a couple of plugs. Make sure it's all connected. If it is, there could be a wire broken behind the board inside the buttons.

Are you sure you're turning it on before you tried to use it? Mine stuffed up for months and I didn't bother putting the new parts in, so I forgot that I had to turn the thing forwards on the indicator stalk... Anyway, when I put the new buttons in, I thought they weren't working because it had been that long since I used it, that I forgot to push the pivoting thing on the indicator stalk forward.

brake switch working? If not... that is your problem.

Check to see if both your brake lights are working.

Yeah same with mine. The bulb socket for one of my brake lights was a bit dodgy and the bulb would work intermittently, meaning that my cruise would be intermittent too.
