Hey folks.

I'm having a bit of trouble with my woofer. Sometimes when I turn the ignition it'll work fine no worries but sometimes (especially if I've just turned the car off) it'll play non-stop bass and no music. Sometimes it'll go off the whole trip and sometimes it'll last 5 seconds. I'm pretty sure it's the ground but I want a second opinion because I've never really had this problem before.

Yeah would either be ground or a loose connection.

Mates sub used to do the same thing, turned out to be wiring to the amp.

the factory woofer in my AU Ghia went stupid not long ago, playing an imaginary song @ 400 beats a minute

the connections looked fine, so i cut off the plastic connector running to the sub and joined the wires straight onto the sub terminals...... problem fixed

Yeah it's not the ground...so it's a loose connection. Hate taking apart the dash, probably should get a pro to do it. Oh well. Thanks lads.
