hey all

ive pulled off the standard little tow bar and i have a HD towbar to put one can anyone shed some light on a few things .

1. main bar at the back doesnt match up with holes of the old one . am i surpose to drill new ones ?

2. where do the other 3 parts of it go . and do i need to drill all the holes for it

Is the bar a Ford one or Hayman-Reece, or a different brand one.????
If it is Ford or Hayman-Reece, most of the holes in the body are there, except for about 4 of them....they are at a seam where the rear floor section meets the floor section over the diff.
There will 1 hole with a grommet in it in the middle of the floor section over the diff.....that is where a triangle sort of shape folded plate with a bar welded to it will go.
There should be a bar that goes on the inside at the rear where the trim goes, need to remove it to fit, then replace it.
I don't have any pics to help you.
