If its via the for sale section you can't reply to his post the only option is send a PM just like your wanted post in the wanted section members can only send a PM to you and not reply to your post.

Its the way it works and has nothing to do with your forum status.

Fair enough - is it correct the pm goes to my outbox & sits there till that person opens it then it disappears from my outbox
