Hey all! Happy to announce I bought myself a shiny ba mk2 xr6t 6 speed manual!
I'm absolutely loving it it's such a pleasure to drive! Quick question though to anyone who may know or who has experience with the tremec boxes: when the car is cold it's a bit hard to get into reverse, and when it's warm I have to press the clutch in twice for it to slip into reverse cleanly and smoothly. All other gears are fine ( I'm only judging it by a mates car who has the bf with the six speed ) but his reverse gear is much easier to get into. However if it helps he has a stock clutch where as mine has the exedy heavy duty clutch which according to the owner is about 10,000kms old. If anyone can help with this or put my fears at ease it would be much appreciated!!! Cheers Alex
