Alright, thinking of running some speakers I have lying around in a ported box in my xg. The amp is a weconic car amp and I would say its designed for 4 ohm speakers but I can remember if its a minimum 4 ohm you can use or a max....... Help would be great guys

Yes you can, but as there is more resistance your amp won't make as much power.
/didn't consider whether that amp might not be able to run it? None of the amps I have ever considered for use have had problems being used on 8ohm...

sorry guys product code is model vx-4475. It can handle 4x75w rms @ 4 ohm, looking at using 6" 6ohm 100w rms woofers

Itll run them fine. Impedance listed will be a minimum for safe operating, go lower and stuff starts to fry.

Thats what I could not remember but I knew one of them sizzled the amp. What do you reckon......... do I go 2x 100w rms 6" woofers under the seat of the xg or do I mount a box behind the seats in the tray and deaden the enclosure so all bass has to travel through the metal behind the seats and use maybe 2x 12" woofers? Also how much do you reckon it would cost to engineer 2x 2.5" ports in that metal back of the cabin?
