hey guys
got a friend of a friend who is trying to register his chev impala and the engineers thats he has taken the car to said he won't put his name on it cause it has big rear tires and said the guy would just do burnouts in the car and put them up on you tube. the car has a pretty stout and lumpy 400 chev and the main mods are mini tubbed rear end 4 link rear suspension and the rear rims are 15 x 15 convos with big a** mickey t street radials (f**k huge rear tire and rims LOL) if anybody has a engineer in the sydney area please put up details cheers, bear |

thats some big rubber??why not he just go 15x10 to get the cert then run the big tyres after??surely he doesnt want such big rubber to go cruising round syd??

its is basically just going to a cruise around car and the car come with the big tire and rubber combo fitted.

He will never get 15x15's engineered in NSW.
The maximum you can run is 10" and there is criteria you have to meet for that. If done correctly the tubs shouldnt be a drama , the 4 link if dont right should just get through if the engineer is on side.
