hi all, this is driving me nuts. i was driving this afternoon in a BF Ghia, the headlights were on auto then all of a sudden the dash lights turned off and the ICC panel lights went bright. the fog lights were also on and i noticed that the little green light for the fog light turned off. i had a look outside and realised the head lights were still on but the park lights were not.

i had a look at the fuses and i noticed fuse 23, Tail lamp fuse blown. i replaced the fuse only for it to blow straight away again. i replaced the tail lamp bulbs, took out the park lamps in the head lights and disconnected the fog lamp switch (incase it was any of these causing the problem) but nothing still blew fuses. after going through about 10 fuses i gave up.

Anyone have any idea??? all i did today was replace the LHF window regulator and all was fine for about 2 hours after this.

any ideas would be appreciated.

did process of elimination, disconnected everything linked to this fuse and reconnected one at a time. it ended up being the LH brake light. even though i changed the bulb the terminals in the connector were touching. played around wih them a little and it now doesnt blow fuses!

bit slow ehh? .. lol.
seriously probly shoulda got the idea ther was a short after 2/3 fuses.

I realised that after the first fuse. I went through ten the first time after changing bulbs, disconnecting fog light switch and checking cluster. Re read.
