Some aftermarket radios come with a inline fuse in the loom at the back of the radio. You will need to pull the radio out to check

I had a similar issue with my Clarion head unit a while ago, just died one day. I was told to leave the unit unplugged for a day or two, as sometimes they can 'lock up' electronically. (Don't ask, I don't know) Anyway left it unplugged for a few days and then plugged it back in, and it's worked fine ever since.
