Yes you would need to get it tuned. I probably wouldn't bother with cams on the 260, the gains arn't as great as the 290's seem to be. Go with the diff gears mate, probably looking at aprrox $1200 for diff rebuilt with a set of gears. Your speedo will then be out so you should get that sorted out too :) Heaps better bang for your buck then cams though

Speedo shouldn't be out as most cars use the ABS wheel sensors for speed these days.

BA1 Utes without traction control, use the old style speedo sender in the extension housing of the gearbox, so will need to be changed.
