Impco 225 are not bad on a stockish 6cyl. 425's flow a fair bit more fuel, might be a bit much for a stock 6cyl, were used on v8 car's usually.
Impco converter quality, I have never come across a bad one, but like all mass produced items, there will be the odd failure. What is a mga mixer? Is it anything like a 225 or 425? Or is it just an amos ring? Cheers ToranaGuy

However, as WildEB says, the gas mixer is always going to be a restriction. Cheers ToranaGuy
