im doing a motor swap
my old head has 91aa
my new head has 91ab
from searching i have gatherd the 91ab head is off an ed?
is there any differance to valve sizes cams or ports or performance in general...?

nope straight bolt on, the 91aa was a 3.9 head the 91ab is a 4.0l head. slight change in port sizing and a few other revisions, but its all timed the same

my 93 eb ii come from factory with the 91ab head and my 92 ebii got a new head put on by a previous owner with that casting 91aa.... mysterious....???

91aa and 91ab are both eb 4.0l heads... 91 meaning they were made in 91... aa= first cast batch ab= second cast batch....

ea heads only have 3.9 cast on them....
