I need some suggestions on how to install my transmission cooler.

I know of two ways of doing this 1. plumb it into the radiator and 2. bypass the radiator all together.

Which is the best way to go, I dont do any towing and dont intend on doing any, my car is just a daily with subtle mods and sometimes gets driven hard sometimes when ive stopped driving and turned the car off you can smell burnt gearbox fluid.

If people out there have done both ways let me know how you have done it in detail please.

to make things easier for people my car is a 94 ED Fairmont 6 cyl

Thankyou

With my EA and EL I used both the radiator cooler and an auxiliary cooler, with the BA I bypassed the radiator due to their reputation of failing.
