How flat are we talking about, if it's just to correct any warpage then the usual is give or take $50 a head if you give them the head. Otherwise shop around and you can get a pair done with new valves and bronze guides for around $750. The higher performance you want the more the cost you can spend thousands on heads.

yeah im just after getting them flat, they already have bronze guides etc in them, i had a repair made to them and i want to make sure that they are right before i put them on, plus im not too confident on putting the heads together myself. i have all the pieces.

If its just a shave and assenble with lapping then you shouldn't get charged more than around $100 a head.

thanks mate, yeah im not too keen on lapping my valves in etc, id rather fork out a bit of cash and know that they are done right and not have to worry about them.
