Just put a new short shifter on my EL XR6, great shifts and all but it seems to let a bit of noise in and is really annoying! Has anyone else had these problems? What could i do to try and stop the noise?

did you put both gearstick boots back on? preety sure theres a inner and outer one. they kill the noise a bit.

Yeah mate did that, and other things to try and minimize noise, just trying to think of other things that may work..
