Hey all,
I noticed that my converter was leaking the other day so its time to get it replaced. I will be getting a licensed fitter to do all the work - but would like to provide my own converter. Currently I have a mixer system (bought with the car) but as I gather funds I want to convert this over to a megasquirt controlled SVI system. Now, i'd like to buy a converter specially for the SVI system, my questions: 1. Will an injection converter work with a mixer ring setup (I have a STAG100 if it matters)? 2. What are good models/brands for converters? 3. Where is the best place to buy converters? I've looked at http://www.autogas-lpg.co.uk and they seem to have very reasonable pricing, but haven't gotten much further than this at the moment. Thanks, Thomas. |

I can get you a price on Emer, Emma, Landi, Sprintgas under bonnet kits minus the ECU and wiring.
No you can't use an injection reducer in place of your current converter. |

Don't have the info off hand. But Sprintgas will help you out with that one.

Ok thanks for that Tickford, I assume those kits your talking about come with converter, injectors plus all necessary fittings/hoses? Also, what would be the (rough) cost of each brand and which one would you recommend?
Thanks, Thomas. |
