hi there everyone,

just wondering if anyone has any idea how to program the body control module on a ef fairmont? and does this module control your boot,fuel and central locking?

any help would be greatly appreciated :)

what exactly do you 'want' to program?

It does control your Boot, central locking and to some degree the fuel.

however the only programmable side is the remote fobs, Noting more.

well i had no power to the central locking, boot and fuel switches so i got told to replave the bcm, so i replaced that but still have no power to the central locking, boot and fuel switches.

what do you mean by remote fobs?

if you could help it would be great :)

remote fob = remote control on your keys.


Without being a smart a***, have you replaced fuse #7 the 30amp Door lock fuse?

i have fixed the boot and fuel switches, i now have power to them :)

i have power to the central locking cause when i push the central locking button inside the car i can hear little light clicking sounds.

one other thing, does the bcm control the climate control?

BCM = Body Control Module
Or commonly called:
BEM Body Electrics Module

No, it does not do any climate control.
This item controls most body electrics, central locking, interior lights, antenna, variable wiper speed, boot, rear demister and Smartlock immobilization.

Any more insight to the fuel control you speak of? Im chasing a morning leaning out & the central locking/starting has been an issue for me of late

what could it be if the central locking as power to it because when you sit in the and door is shut and you push central locking button you can here quite clicking sounds,

do you know what it could be?

any help would be great :D
