How difficult is it to replace in a ea falcon, what involved? Any step by step how to's or pictures? Greatly appreciated, cheers,

the whole dash needs to come out, the heater box needs to be removed from the car and disasembled..

about 7 screws on top, underneath the plastic cover near the windscreen, 2 bolts at the bottom centre infront of where the console joins the dash, so the console needs to be removed, there is 2 bolts either side of the dash at the top of the kick panels,
the steering column will need to be dropped,(2 nuts)..
there is a fair few harnes plugs and connectors that need to be un plugged( best to number each plug so its easier to re assemble..
to remove the heater box there is about 6 nuts in the engine bay behind the engine that needs to be undone, the aircon piping and heater hoses need to be disconnected aswell..

honestly there is bit of work involved and can be daunting, even worse if your not mechanical minded..

the problem is trying to line up 7 little studs with 7 little holes without being able to see the holes...lol

you have an S-pac so shouldnt be so bad - someone at ford in there wisdom decided sound deadening would be a good idea on the firewall :evil:

Troyman mine does aswell, I remember pulling heaps off when we fixed my firewall.
