hi there, just curious to know if the new fg 6 cylinder engines would bolt up to a T5 gearbox? cheers sean

If you use an AU, BA and BF bellhousing it should.
BTW AU has a cable driven clutch and BA/F are hydraulic.

ah yer cool, coz my t5 is out of e series, so your saying if i hunt around for an au to bell housing(coz i wanna keep the cable clutch) this should work?? cheers

Probably be easier to locate a BA and go hydraulic as AU's are like hens teeth.

You'll probably find the box wont be long enough either. The shifter will probably be about where the icc panel is. Find somebody with a manual fg and measure it up before you start spending cash.
