Has anyone got any tips or information on fitting crow 7333-12 springs to a EF XR6 head. Looking at them i think they will have to remove the boss around the valve guide and use a flat spring seat. I am getting head reconditioned so they can do it then. I would like to know the process involved and any other parts required.

I used the 7333 also

I got my machinist to remove the step and to use a flat spring seat. You may have to shim them up a little. I think mine were 130 or 135lb on the seat. Did not want it any higher as I dont think the lifters like it from other peoples experience.
