if a BA xr6 comes standard with 17s would putting 19s or 20s be illegal and void insurance ??

Unless things have changed since I last looked at this, you can go +1 on the size of the largest rim fitted from factory.

BA FPV's had 19's so 20's are not a problem.

Not sure in WA, but in NSW you can go 2 sizes up, ie 17" to 19". So you can increase your rim size by 2" up on the largest rim which was a factory option on that model car. Check your tyre plate fro your car and that will give you your standard as well as options.

F6's, Gt's are not used as a standard as they are a different model.

ok cheers ... umm if i wanna double check the law for WA would i go into the cop shop and ask them ?

Dont listen to anyone when it comes to legality of mods... Go see an engineer.

My experience with this is cops wanna defect you..They will!

im not to fused about cops they defect me i just put originals back on ... im thinkin more about voiding insurance
