OK, need some advice on my setup. Straight gas Technocarb mixer with a BRC mixer. Was tuned on dyno and I get a good balance of power and economy for a V8. But cannot get the idle right, had 3 gas people look at it and it's no better. You set the adjustments on the BRC converter ( a nerld nut and hex sensitivity screw) and it seems fine then later on ( 5 min, 1 day, 2 weeks..random) it's not right and will either stall at idle or idle too fast. It seems impossible to set, have wasted money trying to get it right. Is the BRC a bit of crap or could there be things going on with the technocarb?
Any recommendations for a gas mechanic in the Tweed Heads area, they need to be s**t hot with LPG systems as I am tired of paying people trying to tune it and have to return the car for further attempts. p.s there are no vacumm leaks. Any help and/or recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks, Anders |

Hi Anders,
I'm new to the Tweed area myself and also looking for a *good* lpg mechanic. Have you had any luck in your search so far? Cheers, Gus |
