I have been thinking about putting a EF dash in my 87 XF. Questions below.

1. Does it fit?
2. Is it straight fit?
3. What mods are needed?
4. What wiring will I need?


I have also wanted BA front seats for a while now.

For the first part.
1.Yes
2.No, but almost a couple of holes line up.
3. Cut off some mounting tabs on e-series dash, work out the demister and make something work. Make some mounting locations on the firewall.
4.If your a gun auto elec with alot of time you could sort out the wires. I just re-loomed my whole ute as an nl fairmont much easier.

Another question

Is the interior wiring completely different to the engine wiring or is somehow linked??

Eg. If I was to put a BA motor in, but have a EF interior would it be a problem or could it work?
