Hi everyone just need a bit of advise... I currently hav hurricane headers, stock cat and 2.5 in pipe but im not happy with the sound, was thinking of going 3 inch pipe from the muffler over the diff and to exit, do you think that would make a lumpier deeper tone? I want it to spit and gargle when backing off and down changing... What do you think?

Bring it down to Liverpool on Friday night and let the boys have a look and hear her. Might come up with some ideas.

Change the muffler to a hotdog.
It will sound really rude but will be raspy and will spit , pop and bang on overrun.
Our XH was that set up and it did exactly that but in all honesty sounded like s**t.

Yes the regulars are at Liverpool each Friday Night. Check out the NSW section and look for the Liverpool meet thread it will give you the location and time members start to arrive from.

my au pops n gargles like an expensive pro! only has cheap rusty 'motivator' (pre-pacemaker) extractors, standard cat, 2.5' s/s thin wall tube, one hot dog, one massive muffler & dumped at the diff. No mufflers sound vulgar in my opinion.
