I have a complete EF intake setup including airbox less snorkel if interested with all clips and clamps you can have for postage plus $20?

i dont think the problem is pod/ airbox related, the engine wont quite have as much power without an airbox or sucking hot air, but hot air wont kill that much performance.
it should still have more go above 110kms.. what fuel pump is in it? you have rebuilt the engine with the intent to run a turbo?, if so whats your compression ratio now??.. |

well,
shaved head mls headgasket ed pistons with deeper dish - less compression for turbo but im guessing head shave and mls pretty much set it back to stock i dont know what the exact comp ratio is , what i mean is after around 110-120 it seems like the "go" is dissipating maby its normal considering the wind, drag, etc

I'd say its down on power because of the compression ratio.

how much of a dish are on the pistons?
the problem is if you dont know what your compression ratio is, or you didnt do any chamber measurements you could be as low as 7:1 ?? sounds like its a pot luck build lol.. you could get a general ball park figgure with a comp test, wont be exact but will give you a idea... |

I like it how by your sig your car is basically stock, yet you are still running no emissions gear? No wonder there is a hole in the ozone layer above tasmania.... and for the "watch out for police caution" ive seen my fair share of Tasmania coppers,
having you're ecu hanging out of its holder can suddenly be an excuse for doing burnouts in the casino carpark, because your trying to fix the "2000rpm wheel spinning problem"

I have driven a few good EF's and El's and you should be able to floor it overtaking a B-double at 85-95 and pull back in at 130-140km/hr cheers...
