HELP..PERLEASE
have xh panelvan 96 problem we get ignition but no takeoff we have all dash lights reds we dont get starter but can start if i take hot wire direct to coil on relay so when key goes to start there is nothing so am fitting pushbutton switch so i can drive it but would really likke to know what the issue is where does relay coil get its power from

keybarrel sounds rooted

pull it out and check the wireing with a multimeter

ok checked ign switch we get power to the red /blue starter cicuit now thinking bcm or immobiliser

ok so i am now totalyy confused dropped bcm out put multimeter to red /blue terminal turned key to check THE b**ch TURNED OVER LIKE NOTHING WAS EVER WRONG. w.t.f.

Sounds like standard BEM issue. Starter immobiliser Relay gets dry joints and car wont turn over.

You can disassemble BEM and resolder starter relay (check the BEM info in Tech Docs for which relay that is), or you can externally bypass the relay by joining the starter in line to starter out.

was actually wondering what would happen if i cut the in and out wires and joined them but had decided to bridge the two just incase .
