So the heater/ AC "FAN" has stopped working in my BA.
Its is a dual zone climate control model. You can hear the electronics changing to the different blower settings, but the fan wont come on. You can also hear a ticking noise when you try and turn on the A/C and heater. It also sounds like its back firing occasionally. But when you turn off the heater it stops. Any suggestions which part it may be? Or how to check them? PS Fuse is fine, I have also tried re-setting the computer. |

yepp the blower motor is buggered under your glovebox you will see the fan motor just and can be removed by just 3 screws no need to remove the dash, The 3 screws are directly on the bottom of the blower motor gold in color, pull the power out undo the screws fan motor fall out get it replaced

Ok great, i'll get another one. Do you think a secondhand one will be fine, or go New...?
I actually haven't had a look yet... but do you mean the blower is underneath the car or you have the take out the glove box to get to it? Thanks again |

2nd is fine if your ok with no warranty as they can be pricey underneath the glovebox.
try a few of them when getting it or find a car with lower k's
