Hi Guys,
I have this problem with my car.
When the clutch is disengaged and u apply the brake sometimes the ETC light in the dash comes and the car wants to keep moving forward, but the engine just idles. If u let the clutch out and continue down the road it is really jerky back and fourth, then when i stop and turn it off it is fine, done it to me three times since i have had the car.

Anyway i took to my local ford dealer and they had a look, I found there answer to be very different to what i thought they would say, they said it is my front tyres causing the problem, they are scrubbed on the outside a tiny bit. I don't seem convinced that this is what is causing the problem.
What do u guys reckon??

I reckon a lot of ford service team members would be lucky to tell you what colour pants they are wearing without looking, even then it's likely they'd get it wrong.

Strange sounding problem though sorry can't really help, other than try taking it to a real mechanic or efi specialist.
