i got a pain in the a*** problem today i got a strange noise coming from the fan vent in the footwell of my fairlane, it a fluttering sound, and it builds up sound then stops and keeps repeating that sequence i think it a leaf but i had a look up there and it actually in where the fan spins and i know it not the fan cos it just bang happend today when i left work, any ideas what it could be an how to fix it?? it pissing me off!!!!

It'll be a leaf.

Just put it on low rpm for a little bit.
The leaf'll slowly dry up and break.

Mine has had leaves stuck in it for months now, it's incredibly annoying. I was going to try and take the whole fan assembly out but apparently that requires taking out the whole dash and I really can't be bothered!
I reached up behind the glovebox through the vent opening there and managed to get a few out but it's still making noise. With the stereo on I can't really hear it though.
