hey all i need help my ford eb is losing power at 40 and 80 kms an hour any ideas please help me ive changed fuel pump
fuel filter stepper motor fuel line cpu injecter rod spark plugs leads coil cleaned fuel tank and loads more just about to burn it need ideas again please hlp me otherwise hubby going to scrap it lol thx :twisted:

Might have a blocked cat, stuffed fuel pressure regulator, etc...

Giving speeds is a bit thin on detail - which I think is why there's been lacking response. Is it the engine itself or the transmission shifting that's a drama? Are you saying it's flat spotting or developing a miss?? Is it at certain rev range and/or throttle position (ie. gentle acceleration or heavier or just while going steady speed + accelerator not being moved).

The next things to look at might be Throttle Position Sensor (also look at it's wiring incase it's chafed thru somewhere) - and then MAP sensor.

That kind of problem can be a bu gger to track down.
