Hi all new on here
Just wanted to ask if anyone has tried to fit A Ford EF-AUl K Frame suspension on XD-XF(station wagon or sedan) along with the i6 or V8 From A EF-AUl. |

Not a chance.
they are totally different beasts. X series Falcons have their crossmembers as part of the body structure for starters.

Yeah, it's been done. By Ford. It's called an XH. The only way to do that would be to use the front from an XH, from the firewall forward. Big job though....

Are you just trying to put a V8 in? - there are no frame changes required, just mount plates

thank you to all your reply's about this i was look to get an XE wagon rolling Shell and put everything out of my EF on it

Ahhhh - No, you wont be doing that real easy.
Best start with an XH and put XE Panels on if you want that. I dont think they'll just bolt up though and thats only going to give you a ute. If you want better suspension you can always go with RRS, but its hell expensive |

putting the 4.0 into it should be reasonably straight forward, so that only leaves you with suspension and brakes.
given that brake upgrades for the X-Series seem to be more available, i'd just sell the kit you've got for your EF and buy something that would suit the XE

Thanks to all that have tried to help me out as it will be I'll fix up my EF just hope I can get away with 22"+ on my EF I know i can on an XD-XE thank you all this well be the end here

22" on the front of an EF?
maybe if they're pushed out a lot to clear the balljoint.

Yeah but you would've had that problem if you fitted the ef bs to an xf anyway, haha.
