I got a set of sony splits into my EF doors no worries.... and I wouldn't be worried about the "220 watt" part of the speakers. I'd be more concerned with the RMS rating.

Anyways, are you sure you line up the screw holes properly? Should go in easy, unless the speakers themselves stick out too far and hit the speaker grill

look, 220 watt compared to 50 watt? ill stick to 220
m8, that 220 watts isnt the power that the speaker makes, it's the amount of power (in this case peak power, not continuous) that the speaker can handle

as for the 220 watts, i'd say sony made a mistake on where to put the decimal point

did you use a clear coat???

with the speakers with the torx bit use a drill and drill em out then use normal screws lol, i mean any thief thats smart enough gonna have a bit to get security (torx) screws off the speakers

I've got 6 1/2" speakers in there now. Problem is that different brands seem to measure there speakers differently, so out of the 4 different speakers I've fitted in there, two have been 6 1/2" and the other 6", but in reality all same size.

yes, no worries, unless those speakers are abnormally deep.

These 6 1/2" speakers have a depth of 2 5/8" ..Would that be sweet? Or do they sound 'abnormally' deep by comparison?

Cheers
