I have an EF (ok, its a 5.0) but its stuffed, and at the moment Im running a dodgy belt. This would at least give me a way to run the factory correct belts!

Took the pump off and stripped all the internals and bolted it back up. almost looks standard, the pulley spins freely still and will not come off and i lost 3.35kgs. I took photos so can do a 'how to' if anyone is interested

wtf man!!

all that time shaving 3kgs off the car couldve been invested in doing something that wouldve made a friggin difference :|

Next, I want to move the battery to the boot and remove, if possible, the radiator bottle thing. Don.t mind if this means i have to get a different radiator. Mostly wish to do this for custom cold air intake.

The radiator bottle is there to raise the radiator cap so it is the highest point of the cooling system. Removing it and you will have problems with air being trapped in the head. A new radiator is not going to fix this as the radiator will still be too low
