It really hauls now dude! I recently fitted a twin 2.5" catback and Walbro GSS-340 intank.

Today I got the beast tuned. As part of the work, I supplied Bosch 968 42lb injectors, and a beautiful polished bolt-in cat section with a 5" body and single > twin mid section.

After speaking with Kit from Gentech, he recommended keeping the stock dump and getting a good cat as it's the main restriction from stock.

XRCIST from VENOM Exhaust Works came to the party and supplied me with the cat section - it actually bolts up to the top half of the factory dump, and will bolt up to any stock twin system on an XR6T, OR an aftermarket twin system. It's a brilliant product and really fills a hole in the market if you don't want to go and get a full dump (Turbo back system). I opted for this as changing the dump will often make the controlling boost via the wastegate very difficult - this in turn would warrant wastegate porting and flapper mods.. over $1000 there alone.

Check out the results.. I think they speak for themselves.

HUGE thanks to George at VENOM Exhaust Works, and Kit at GenTech for the tidy, grunty tune. Also Rob at Monsta Torque for the XCAL 3, and Justin at TUFFCARPARTS for the injectors and catback. Excellent and affordable suppliers that are all very prompt in getting back to you too!

Cheers mate!

Not sure what you mean, history is it was sold new in Sydney, then used in Melb as a NAB bank managers car, then came to Canberra. Did you know the previous ACT owner? PM if you want.
