no, actually the std au valves are the same size as e series tickford valvess..
the au valve stem diameter are narrower though..

au gasket is thinner to increase compression ever so slightly.
And stronger so helps with the old head problem.

well it must have been the valve stems he meant, i will be getting a AU head gasket, for that ever so slight compression boost and for the reason of the standard e series head gasket failing.

i am..
when i was running it n/a and power come on around 2200/2500rpm and was strong to 5500/5700rpm, un tuned it would hunt for idle and stall alot, but once it was tuned it idles almost like std,
now its turbo the rev range is pretty much the same just double the power,lol

So if I was to get a j3 and controller, this would solve the idle hunting and stalling?

if you get a j3 or flash tuner, a custom tune will fix any idle issues,

im running an ems ecu and is tuned by v&e rigoli racing in sydney..
