hey guys
Im convinced my ef's timing is out as i am chewing tons of fuel have no power and im backfiring. Is it possible to adjust the timing on an ef? and if not what could be causing it to fire incorrectly? |

nope, ef timing is non adjustable, its static, the crank sensor is what tells the ecu where tdc is and the cam angle sensor tells the ecu when compression stroke is..
and the ecu does the rest... it could be a faulty cam angle sensor??? |

yeah i thought so, so i guess those are my 2 sensors to check. any idea how i can test them? I know where the crank angle sensor is but where is the cam angle sensor?

the cam angle sensor is at the front passenger side of the engine below the manifold.
its where the distributor would be in earlier models.. |
