i go for the bosch,
ive had better results with using the bosch leads, compared to the crappy topgun ive used before..and eagle leads seem ok but still prefer the bosch ones |

You generally get what you pay for. If you have a budget of only $50, you're going to get pretty average quality. At $55, the standard Bosch is about as good as you're going to get for close to your budget. If you're not modding the engine or running LPG, they're probably OK. If you're stressing the engine at all, you should invest in quality leads: Bosch Motorsport, Champion Steel Core, or similar. They will last longer and save you money in the long run anyway.

sorry to jump on this thread, but i thought it would be best instead of creating a new one. I'm in desperate need for some new leads as the car is will backfire on gas and struggle to run as well as on petrol the car seems to shake/vibrate when approaching 80kmph. As i mentioned before, I'm on gas. What leads do you guys recommend ? Also, is it a bit of a b**ch to change on a EF Fairmont? Any tips at all ?
cheers daniel |

Apparently, the key to leads that will ignite LPG is low resistance. Champion make low-reistance 8mm Steel Core leads especially for this. I have used them for years (on petrol) with no problems. They have a 3-year warranty and do last a long time.
If you find these hard to come by, Bosch Motorsport make high quality leads (in a fetching blue colour) that should work fine too. Supercheap sell them. I have these in my AU, and they work great (again, on petrol).
