Hi Guys,

Looking at getting some EL Fairmont Ghia door drims for the EB, is it pretty much a straight fit to bolt on.

Does the metal rod thing that opens the door need to be changed since im using a different door card?

Also what needs to be changed if I decide to change the door handles to the EL ones on the outside??

Any help is appreciated :)

is a mostly straight swap, only difference from memory is the screw holes for the arm rest ect have to be moved (there little white plastic clip things), power mirrors have to be fixed on the drivers side as the wiring for the switch is different and id find some new door rods as they are different

there was a tech doc on this but am unable to locate it at present

hope this helps

Cool thanks for that info..

Is it pretty hard to move it, do you mean i have to move it on the door card or do u mean i have to drill holes in the doors to be able to bolt em up?? the arm rest that is.

Also do i need to do that on all the doors??

Yep,

Here is something myself and an old member put together a few years ago.

That should help somewhat.

Cheers

Actually, Fairmont bolsters fit fine, Fairlane bolsters don't.

Agree with front needing mods to the rails.

Cheers
