Hi guys
Was just looking around my engine bay and spark plug leads when I noticed that on the closest lead to the firewall, that on the end of the spark plug lead that there is some tape wrapped around it with a bit of wire coming from it going directly into the firewall. Just wondering what this could be, as I'm changing them over on wednesday. Cheers Daniel |

Remote start modules use them to tell when the engine is running

So if I was to change over the leads, what do I do with this wire?

Is your car on gas? Some gas systems use that as a sensor to know when the car is running.
If you replace your leads, you will need to put it back on. |
