Hi guys, i just beccame the proud driver of an eb cfi wagon after selling my AU fairmont. i got the wagon as a bit of a project to play around with and as a bit of a family people mover , as i have already fitted the extra rear seat and seatbelts from an el wagon to make the car an 8 seater. it is now quite handy as i have 5 kids.
first mod i would like to attempt is to get rid of the cfi and convert to multi point injection. i have both the log style mpi and a bbm in the shed and also have a wreaked eb with multipoint loom in tact. i have never attempted or even looked at this conversion so i have no idea how much is involved. anybody out there done this and have any pointers?
next mod on the list is to beef up the suspension (as i intend to do a bit of towing) maybe an extra leaf or over ride springs. what works best on these wagons?
also, in the wrecked eb i have the trip cumputer thing in the dash, is the required loom in place so i can just plug it in or do i have to change to loom to get it to work.
i hope some of you can help with my queries as i am quiet exctited about getting stuck into this car.
