Alright, silly question: I am in the process of replacing the fuel pump on my el wagon with a bosh jobby I got off ebay ( new). I have a workshop manual aswell. The manual tells me to disconnect the two lines that go into the pump, but how do I do it? I cannot see any hose clamps or bolts like the filter and I dont want to be pulling on it or stuffing it.

push the line towards the pump then pull the white or black clips towards the line ie motor end
then pull the lines away from the pump with the clip
you may need to do this a few times to clear the dust out of the way
