They should still bolt in, the bolsters are different however as the latching mechanism changed.
Remove the latching posts, they just unscrew. Line up the AU striker plates, drill a couple of holes so they sit in like they would in an AU. If you're really careful you can remove the fabric off the AU bolsters and glue it straight over the EA-EL bolsters. Or you could see if an auto trimmer has any of your fabric in stock, should only take them a couple of minutes to skin your bolsters. |

Several people on here have done it. The AU front seats will bolt straight onto EF/EL rails.

I have only fitted AU seats to my EL. I am still running EL rails. I believe that fitting the EF/EL rails to an EA-ED it is a matter of attaching a leg to the inside rail (only at the rear). There are several people that have fitted EF/EL seats to an EB/ED. They may be able to provide more info here.

I have EF seats in my EB, you need a piece of thick walled tube (cant remember how long) and a long bolt or you can unpick the floorpan mount from an EF/EL and then weld it in.
