any one know where i can get an ef xr body kit for an ef ghia. i got one from fibre fab for a grand and sent it back cause i got quoted 2 grand to get it painted and fitted cause it was cracked and stuffed. i rang them up and they got nasty saying that they all come like that and i should have researched it better. i ended up getting it back and am now looking for one that will fit straight on with no troubles.

Thier are a number of places you can get the XR kit from, have you looked at all the bodykit suppliers on the net. [url]ssv.com.au[/url], www.canberracarstyling.com.au and check out FTG wreckers they might have some Xr kits around.

fibre fab say they got theres from sydney. not sure if it was ssv or not. i have been told by a panel shop to give body line a go but i have no idea where it is. i priced one at my ford dealer and they quoted me like 4k for the thing not painted. i laughed and said no. i dont want a fibre glass one cause they can crack easy. wouldnt mind a plastic one. do you know of one anywhere

Yeah i wouldnt suggest you give Ford a call for stuff like that! Will cost you an arm and a leg as you have found out! 
FTG (Ferntree Gully Auto wreckers) get that sort of gear fairly often, send either Neo nick a Pm or xr8 dismantler.. they should be able to help you locate a tickford kit.

do you have a number by any chance for the fern tree gully joint. or do they have a website maybe. so are these ones off wrecks or something and are original?

They are afilliated with Fordmods, so check out the top of the forums list and thier info should be thier
They do have a site as well, but might be better off giving them a call or PM first. They can atleast look around for one, for you and yes they would be off of a wrecked car. Most of thier stuff is in pretty good nic thou
