has anyone fitted an XR6/8 nose cone to an Xt ? Iam in the processs of getting prices .Are there any traps i need to know (how do you wire up the driving lights?) any information would be greatly appreciated

i am sure it has been done,
there may be a wiring loom for the lighst avail from ford and that should plug int othe main loom
maybe..

are you referring to the front bar? the headlights are different are they not?

They certainly are different as is the grill i am not sure of the fiddly bits i might have to buy i will get my local Ford dealer to work it all out for me

yer be grill/lights not sure on the bonnet. mounting brackets and screws wiring looms etc

juts go buy an XR then it be real

easier and cheaper to pull it off a rear ended xr than go through ford

you'll need lights and bumper pretty well. And then a loom for the foggies and a foglight switch. The bonnet can stay and your current grille will fit the xr front bar but just won't look as good. :)
