Hi Guys,

I bought a 2006 F6 typhoon a few months ago with no work done as of yet. I am looking at doing a few mods to it. I just would like an opinion on what would be the best to start off with.

I am not really looking at spending much more then $1000 - $1500 for any single mod.

Also please let me know of recommended places to take it for a tune up, and when I should look at doing it. (Preferrably located in ACT)

Cheers.

If you only want to spend around $1000 then just get a tune.

I only want to spend about a grand on each mod, meaning I am not really willing to spend (At this stage) 2 or 3K on one performance mod.

I have a bout 6 months to do mods to my car before I have to start placing finances everywhere and I probably get about 1.1k to spend on my car every month. So I am looking at doing a mod a month.

What do you think I'll gain out of a tune costing about a grand.

I would say play it safe with the tune, more damage than its worth could be done by a cheapie.

So what other things would be recommended besides a tune? Just to get the car sounding neat and get a slight gain in rwkw

A BA F6 the other day made 299rwkw @ 12psi with bigger injectors,Intercooler,Fuel Pump and a tune.
All depends on what power you want for anyone to tell you what you have to do/get.

you wont get a tune for 1k..

x3 = $799 + custom tune(s) $600+

with injectors, fuel pump, highflow cat and tune, your looking at around 270-280rwkw (manual with standard boost) for around 2.5-3k depending if u can fit the parts yourself or not..

or like me, collect your parts and do it all at once..alot cheaper in the long run, considering the cost of tunes..

Appreciate the advice.

walbro fuel pump(in tank), Siemens injectors and Balistic cats seem to be the best around, with no complaints at all

Just a quick one.. I am not really sure what I am looking for with injectors and was wandering if this would be any good;

SIEMENS Deka injector - 60lb 610CC?

they're the most common ones that people use in xrt's/f6's..they flow to about 500hp (atw's) i believe but not recommended if your planning a e85 tune..
