hey
so we went fishing all was good half way home my dads AU decided to loose all
drive and start squeal and screach.. then after maybe 10 seconds of foot on
the go peddle it starts to move but feels like it taking off in 3rd-4th.... with really
loud noise...

we get home and sleep

next morning we give it a go it start to squeal and screach put it in reverse
takes like 10 secs to get into gear moved it the shut it off and left it....

oil level is fine and its red and not burn the car was bought only a week ago
and the trannie was rebuilt for 3500 dollar 5 months ago..

anybody have any thoughts?
i have serched and read many posts

car is a 2004? AU i6 does not have VCT, auto, ute

is there a recipt for this gearbox that was re-built?

if so then take it to te place that done the work. but its probly not the box... bit hard to say without sein the car.
try takin your handbreak off.
