I've had the exhaust on my car replaced with a straight pipe and one high flow muffler in the middle (unknown brand). It's noticeably louder than standard but it isn't very deep. Would adding a resonator make it A) louder and/or B) Deeper?

I'm not overly fussed on the louder but more on the deeper....

What size pipe did you use? Is it an inline or offset muffler you have installed? These things will affect the sound coming out of the res I am fairly sure.

It's 2" pipe. middle in and offeset out muffler.

Maybe go a 2" inlet res off the muffler to a straight through 3" pipe to the tail.
