Hey all,
Just replaced the cammshaft pulley on my daughter's EL and took it for a test run after a warm up. Ran OK but when I pushed my f oot down it shuddered until it changed gear. Any ideas? Could it be low transmission fluid? or something more nasty. Thanks all

Is it only doing it in a certain rev range? I had a similar issue with my EF a while ago at about 2,500 - 3,000 rpm, thought the trans was playing up as she'd shudder and f@rt about changing gears under mild acceleration. Turned out the coil pack was dieing. Replaced it and the leads and she's been fine ever since.
But being that the EL's had a dizzy ignition, check the timing is spot on before doing anything drastic. Then I'd check the condition of the coil and leads and work up from there. Hope this helps.
