Hi guys
Well, I'm fitting a new engine to my Ford EF Fairmont. Now I dont want to take any risks with water and doing another head gasket on it so I'm looking at replacing all the hoses, taps and an option the radiator. Now I went into a couple radiator places to see what it would cost to get a flushing and that, most charged around 90 dollars. Now looking on ebay I have found new ones for the same price. Is there any other things that need to be done to a brand new radiator? Like flushing it before hand? These are a couple I have found, are they poor quality? Or are they OK? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Radiator-FOR ... 187wt_1026 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ford-EF-EL-F ... 1299wt_960 |

Get yours flushed and tested. If you buy those off Ebay you will be replacing them within 12 months.
Try This one; http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... K:MEWAX:IT |

Thanks mate, but Yeah just a little out of my price range with everything to do with fitting the engine, I thought it might be ok to grab one of those instead of getting mine flushed and checked.

Made the same mistake you are thinking of and split the tank.
