Just wondering if replacing the front/rear struts on a ef sedan is something that I can do with jacks and spring compressors? I have been told that I really need to go to a suspension shop because of the tension on the springs? I just want to replace the sagging fronts and the rears with better standard gas shocks..

nah mate get yourself a work shop manual, a mate and a case of beer and have a go, make sure you use car stands too, dont want the car dropping on your freshly opened cold one

Can be done easily at home mate. Just need a decent jack to get the car high enough on chassis stands .

I have to use a scissor jack first cos my car is so low . Then I can slide under the trolley jack .
You only need a spring compressor for the front .
